Wade Hunt Information Technology was founded in Rockhampton in 2003, with one purpose in mind – for Wade to provide IT consulting services to local business, at the highest quality whilst always maintaining his strong ethics.

Wade Hunt Information Technology has been in business since 2003, employs 8 full time technicians, has long-standing relationships with our clients, and values great customer service.

We understand that everyone’s problem is important which is why we aim for same day response to your problem. If the problem is urgent and is impacting your business, we prioritise your job and assign whatever resources are required to get you back up and running.
Wade Hunt
Managing Director
Wade attended Central Queensland University, graduating with a B.Information Technology in 1998. For the next 5 years, Wade worked for a local business as I.T. Manager before deciding to make the move into private consultancy in July 2003 trading as Wade Hunt Information Technology.
Since then, the business has grown progressively with Wade moving into the role of Managing Director, overseeing 9 staff.
Wade takes pride in developing strong relationships with clients, mentoring staff, and ensuring the ongoing success of the business.
Lesley Hunt
Office Manager
Lesley attended Central Queensland University, graduating with a B.Engineering (Co-Op), Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) in 2000, and commenced working as a Structural Engineer in Rockhampton.
Lesley joined Wade early in the business, helping with accounts at night, whilst working in engineering by day. After a few years, the business had grown so much, that the role became full-time incorporating all aspects of Wade Hunt I.T. administration. Lesley is now the Office Manager, focussed on maintaining our high standards of workmanship, and processes to ensure clients are satisfied with our service.
Nick Jones
Operations Manager
Starting his studies at CQ University; Nick completed his Bachelor of IT Network Services in 2011. In the same year he managed to secure an available position as an IT Support Officer at Wade Hunt IT and has since advanced his skills into a Senior IT Systems Engineer. He is admired for his outstanding work ethics & loyalty.
Nick enjoys going to the gym, 4X4 touring, fishing & spending time with his family.
Jordan Glazebrook
Senior I.T. Systems Engineer
Jordan joined the Team in 2018 as a I.T Support Officer after completing his Degree at CQ university, quickly rising through the ranks and is now a Systems Engineer with a keen interest in cloud infrastructure as well as deploying on premises solutions.
Outside of work he enjoys playing golf, hanging out at the pub & long walks on the beach.
Joe Hunt
I.T. Support Officer
Joe is currently studying his Bachelor of Information Technology at CQU, majoring in Cyber Security. He has been working with WHIT part time since 2023 and is keen to learn and develop his skills further, focussing on providing excellent customer service.
Joe enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
Adam Hooper
I.T. Systems Engineer
Adam joined the Wade Hunt IT team in November of 2021 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at Central Queensland University. Adam has a passion for technology and aims to solve problems whilst delivering exceptional customer service.
Marsant Smit
Senior I.T. Support Officer
Born in South Africa, raised in Maitland, Smit completed his Bachelor of Information Technology (Network Security Major) at CQU with Distinction, before joining Wade Hunt I.T. in October of 2021.
He has an interest in gaming, 4×4 driving and wine making. Smit also enjoys keeping up with the latest changes and trends in technology. Smit hopes to further his I.T. career in the direction of Cyber Security.
Nathaniel Adams
I.T. Support Officer
Nathaniel is currently studying a Bachelor of Information Technology at Central Queensland University. He joined the Wade Hunt IT Team in January 2023 with the hopes of being able to work in a field he is passionate in whilst also expanding his scope of knowledge.
Sarah Allen
Administration
Sarah has worked in administration all her working life, with a Certificate III in Business Administration.
She was part of the Wade Hunt IT team back in 2016 and after a short break to have children, she is back and excited to re-join the team.
Danica Berry
Senior I.T. Support Officer
Danica has worked in Technical Support all her working life, with a Bachelor of Information Technology and a double Major in Information Technology Management and Networking & Security.
Danica is customer service driven with her motivation to allow businesses to be able to operate to their abilities being enhanced, not impeded, by their IT solutions.
